About the role

The Central Supply Inventory & Distribution Technician (IDT) oversees the ordering, receiving, and distribution of all clinical supplies and equipment. This role monitors deliveries, manages stock rotation, tracks inventory levels for tissue and organ needs, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. The IDT coordinates logistics to maximize efficiency, eliminate waste, and maintain readiness across all OneLegacy locations.

Responsibilities

  • Transport organ/tissue supplies to Los Angeles and Orange offices, rotating and shelving items while tracking inventory volumes and discarding outdated items to ensure clinical readiness.
  • Monitor and coordinate maintenance of proper par levels of recovery supplies at all OneLegacy recovery facilities, adjusting levels based on usage within the supply management system.
  • Maintain constant communication with recovery locations to assess and meet their supply needs.
  • Coordinate packing of organ and tissue recovery supplies, bins, and packs.
  • Assess and facilitate ordering of new recovery instruments, coolers/bins, and supplies.
  • Oversee cleaning of Central Supply warehouse inventory storage areas and recovery kits per OneLegacy’s Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure cleanliness of central supply areas at all OneLegacy facilities as outlined in company policies.
  • Manage daily disposal of trash and recycling in the Central Supply warehouse.
  • Participate in routine materials inventory reconciliation to ensure proper utilization of supply management systems.
  • Rotate and replace medical gas and air cylinders to support donor management, including removing gas lines, relocating cylinders, and reconnecting gas lines.
  • Assist the Manager in preparing Central Supply Operations for internal or external audits/inspections.
  • Support the vehicle fleet by transporting vehicles for maintenance and repair, refueling, and cleaning.
  • Ensure compliance with Human Resources policies and complete required training, including annual hazard communication and control safety sessions for Cal-OSHA and other programs.
  • Attend department staff meetings and perform quality control practices as defined by policies and procedures.
  • Uphold the organization’s Standards of Professional Conduct, mission, vision, and values.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including periodic after-hours availability for emergencies and overtime as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from a two-year college, completion of a Surgical Technologist or EMT program, or equivalent training in an affiliated health field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in supply management preferred.
  • Current California driver’s license and vehicle insurance meeting California minimum coverage standards.

Schedule

Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Assigned days and/or shift may change based on staffing needs. Must be available evenings, holidays, and weekends as required.

Work Setting

In-person at our Azusa, CA location with high-frequency travel by auto to OneLegacy facilities using a company vehicle to perform essential functions.

Pay

Salary range: $43,680 – $53,955.20. The final offer considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
