Temporary InDesign Support Specialist

Fantasy Flight Games has an immediate opportunity for a temporary InDesign Script Specialist.

About the role

The InDesign Script Specialist will collaborate with various teams to ensure automation workflows are accurate, efficient, and aligned with stakeholder deliverable requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining InDesign script workflows, including file generation from data and final file exporting, while adhering to studio guidelines and best practices.

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather information needed to support accurate workflow management.

• Creating process documentation to support created scripts and workflows.

• Providing recommendations regarding workflow optimization and data management.

• Performing data entry and data management tasks as needed throughout the engagement.

• Completing additional project-based deliverables as mutually agreed upon throughout the engagement.

Requirements

• Proficiency in workflow automation and Adobe Creative Cloud software.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Adobe InDesign XML.

• Familiarity with Adobe ExtendScript scripting preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with online project management tools such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, or Asana.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor content for different audiences and platforms.

• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and multiple departments.

• Ability to work in a deadline driven, high-energy environment.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

• Passion for tabletop gaming is a plus!

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in InDesign scripting, workflow automation, or similar role.

Benefits

The actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, market conditions and specific work location. Base Hourly Range: $35.00-$40.00.

Schedule

This is a full-time, temporary position anticipated to last approximately six (6) months. The position is expected to average 40 hours per week during the assignment.
