About the role

nLIGHT is seeking a temporary HR Recruiting Coordinator to support hiring and HR activities for our Operations organization in Camas, Washington. In this hands-on role, you will partner with hiring managers, candidates, and the HR team to coordinate recruiting, onboarding, employee changes, and other essential HR processes. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values accuracy and confidentiality, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This onsite position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Camas, Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the hiring process for manufacturing, facilities, and logistics roles, from posting openings and scheduling interviews through offer preparation and pre-employment checks.
  • Creates a responsive, organized candidate experience by communicating next steps, answering questions, and keeping interviews and hiring activities on track.
  • Partners with hiring managers and HR team members to coordinate candidate selection and prepare new hires for a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Supports affirmative action and outreach efforts by connecting with community resources and participating in career fairs and other recruiting events.
  • Maintains accurate hourly employee progression records and assists with employee changes and related HR documentation.
  • Contributes to HR projects and provides administrative support based on team and business needs.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of relevant recruiting, HR coordination, or administrative experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Clear, professional communication and a commitment to providing excellent service to candidates, employees, and hiring managers.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and a demonstrated ability to protect confidential and proprietary information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and the ability to quickly learn HR information systems.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and escalate questions appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an HR certification.
  • Experience supporting recruiting or HR activities in a manufacturing or similar operational environment.

Pay

HR Coordinator - $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
