Temporary HR Coordinator
About the role
This role provides broad HR operations support across the employee lifecycle, including benefits administration, payroll support, onboarding, offer letter preparation, audits, workers' compensation, and open enrollment activities.
Responsibilities
- Supports benefits administration, open enrollment, and workers' compensation programs
- Assists with payroll processes and employee data management
- Drafts offer letters, coordinates onboarding, and supports HR compliance audits
- Works within a small HR team environment
- Possesses financial services or related professional services industry experience
- Experience with Workday, ADP, Paychex, or BambooHR
- Works independently and makes an immediate impact with limited training
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Available to work on-site in New York City five days per week
Requirements
- 2+ years of HR Coordinator or HR Operations experience
- Experience supporting benefits administration, open enrollment, and workers' compensation programs
- Experience assisting with payroll processes and employee data management
- Experience drafting offer letters, coordinating onboarding, and supporting HR compliance audits
- Prior experience working within a small HR team environment
- Financial services or related professional services industry experience
- Experience with Workday, ADP, Paychex, or BambooHR
- Ability to work independently and make an immediate impact with limited training

- Availability to work on-site in New York City five days per week
