Temporary Full Time - Cardiac Monitoring Technician

As a new hire, you will attend and complete our iRhythm University Training Program, a comprehensive clinical training experience to become a Cardiac Technician for one of our Product Service Lines.
Responsibilities
- Review patient ECG data and algorithm findings for clinical accuracy, ensuring 100% data quality.
- Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities to physicians as needed.
- Perform quality assurance for every report, making necessary modifications before final delivery.
- Continuously develop ECG interpretation skills, meeting productivity and quality metrics.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines and best clinical practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on cardiac rhythm interpretation experience in a clinical, diagnostic, monitoring, or telemetry environment.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret ECG/EKG rhythms, identify common arrhythmias, and recognize clinically significant cardiac events.
- Experience as a Cardiac Monitor Technician, Telemetry Technician, Holter Scanner, ECG Technician, Cardiac Technician, or equivalent role involving cardiac rhythm analysis.
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience working within quality, accuracy, and productivity standards in a healthcare environment.
- Strong computer navigation skills and ability to work effectively within multiple software applications.
- Candidates without RN, EMT-P, or CCT must receive CCT certification within 120 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification such as RN, EMT-P, CCT, CRAT, or EKG Certification.
- Associate degree or coursework in cardiovascular technology, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in remote cardiac monitoring, ambulatory cardiac monitoring, Holter monitoring, or telemetry services.

Work Requirements
- Hybrid position with 2 days per week in office.
- Must reside within 50 miles of San Francisco, CA OR 70 miles of Deerfield, IL or Houston, TX.
- Must attend and complete approximately 6 weeks of iRhythm University training.
- Must be available to work the entire scheduled training period in office.
Pay
Estimated Pay Range: $23.95 – $27.78 per hour (actual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location).
