About the role
The Department of Social Work at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) is seeking applications for a temporary part-time teaching appointment.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned upper division courses in the department’s curriculum
- Serve weekly office hours based on assigned teaching unit load
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution
- Prior teaching experience at the college or university level preferred
- Experience in teaching students from diverse ages, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds
- Two or more years graduate level teaching experience preferred
- A Doctorate degree in the field relevant to the curriculum or related discipline preferred

Employment Requirement
Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required for employment.
Salary and Benefits Information
- Initial rank and salary for lecturer faculty are based on professional experience and educational background
- Classification salary ranges for the respective ranks are provided
