Temporary Facilities Maintenance Worker

About the role

The Facility Maintenance Worker helps keep the buildings and grounds clean and orderly. Aviation operations are dynamic, requiring adaptable team members who can support each other and the crew and customers.

Responsibilities

• Remove garbage/rubbish
• Operate floor cleaning machinery
• Move equipment, furniture, etc.
• Paint
• Furniture assembly
• Light maintenance activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and write English fluently
• Experience operating floor cleaning machinery — Janitorial skills

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• A proactive mindset to take action and/or report maintenance needs

Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
• Frequent exposure to vibration
• Occasional exposure to fuel fumes
• Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
• Exposure to extreme temperatures
