Temporary Director, Process Risk and Controls Consulting

As a director in RSM’s growing Process Risk and Controls Practice, you will draw from your experience while continuing to grow your leadership skills through extensive client and industry exposure, mentorship, and a diverse, inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Draw upon demonstrated technical, industry, and risk advisory knowledge to become a trusted advisor to clients within the life sciences sector, incorporating emerging risks, trends, and concepts into service delivery.
• Increase the firm’s relevance by understanding each client’s culture and strategy and integrating that understanding into service delivery.
• Maintain responsibility for C‑suite, board‑level, and external audit relationships.
• Complete review of all project deliverables.
• Maintain overall responsibility for engagement economics, including adjustments to account strategy or structure to improve financial performance.
• Perform engagement‑level review of work performed to ensure quality and consistency with engagement objectives and requirements.
• Lead account communication strategy and ensure adherence to the reporting protocol defined for each client.
• Handle complex relationship concerns, exercising sound judgment in escalation or seeking additional counsel.
• Provide professional support for assigned projects and initiatives.
• Complete assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Follow established processes and quality standards.
• Maintain flexibility to support varying business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including significant leadership responsibility.

Additional Role Expectations

• Travel to client or organization locations may be required based on business needs.
• Work may include periods of increased hours during peak business cycles.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $132 – $158 per hour. Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
