About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Temporary Director, Process Risk and Controls Consulting to join the team of a leader in the Legal & Accounting space. This role will oversee client advisory engagements focused on risk, controls, and audit-related consulting services. The director will work closely with senior executives, board members, external auditors, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality work that aligns with client strategy and operational needs. This position also requires strong judgment, financial awareness, and the ability to manage complex relationship dynamics while maintaining consistent service standards. Location: Raleigh, NC - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients in the life sciences sector by leveraging industry knowledge
• Incorporate client culture and strategy into service delivery to enhance relevance
• Manage relationships with C-suite executives, board members, and external auditors
• Review all project deliverables for quality and consistency
• Oversee engagement economics, adjusting strategies to improve financial performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including significant leadership responsibility

Pay

$274,560 – $329,440 annually
