Temporary Counselor II/III - (SATF)

About the role

The Temporary Counselor II/III (ISUDT) at Amity Foundation is responsible for delivering face-to-face rehabilitative programming services within the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based and standardized curriculum.
• Conduct class and facilitate individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and/or provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document the progress of participants assigned to their classes.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations for participation and completion.
• Work collaboratively with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Counselor II: Certified as an AOD Counselor.
• Counselor III: Certified as an AOD Counselor, with one (1) year of full-time experience providing certified AOD counseling services.

Qualifications

This is a TEMPORARY position with Amity Foundation. Full-Time On-site Hourly wage: $32.00 Work performed inside a State Prison. Must be certified to be considered. (CAADE, BBS, CADTP, CCAPP)
