Temporary Contract - Mechatronics Engineer I

Pride Global is supporting a leading technology and engineering organization with a temporary contract opportunity for a Mechatronics Engineer. This role involves working on integrated electromechanical systems and automated equipment across Boston and Hopkinton, MA sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test integrated mechatronic systems, components, and automated equipment.
• Develop control systems and algorithms to support automated equipment and electromechanical applications.
• Apply mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles to develop effective technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain existing mechatronic systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement technical solutions.
• Support system testing, validation, and performance improvements.
• Document engineering designs, processes, test procedures, results, and technical changes.
• Use CAD software to develop and modify mechanical designs and system components.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems as needed.
• Travel between the Boston and Hopkinton sites as required to support engineering activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechatronics Engineer or in a closely related engineering role.
• Proficiency with CAD software, PLC programming, and control system design.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and troubleshooting integrated electromechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Ability to document engineering designs, processes, testing activities, and results accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Pay

$30–$35/hr on W2.

Schedule

02 months contract.
