Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team on a temporary contract assignment expected to last approximately six (6) months. This role will provide administrative and operational support across a variety of HR functions and is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and providing excellent customer service to employees and managers.The HR Assistant will work closely with the HR team to support employee records, onboarding, recruiting coordination, HR systems, reporting, and general employee inquiries. Essential Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources department.Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparing onboarding materials, tracking required documentation, and coordinating orientation activities.Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR records.Support data entry, employee updates, and general maintenance within the HRIS and other HR systems.Assist with recruiting coordination, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, job posting support, and offer/onboarding documentation.Respond to routine employee and manager questions and direct more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member.Assist with preparation of HR reports, spreadsheets, trackers, and audits.Support employee engagement, recognition, training, and other HR initiatives as needed.Assist with benefits, leave of absence, and other employee administration processes.Help maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable employment requirements.Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned based on business needs. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.1–2 years of administrative, HR, recruiting, or related experience preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.Experience with an HRIS, applicant tracking system, or other HR technology is preferred. This is a temporary, full-time contract position estimated to last approximately six (6) months. The duration of the assignment is based on business needs and may be adjusted, extended, or ended based on operational requirements.This position is a great opportunity for an HR professional looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources while supporting a collaborative and growing team.
