Temporary Bookkeeper (8–10 Week Assignment)

Key Responsibilities

  • Entering and reconciling daily deposits
  • Client billing and payment posting
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • General ledger maintenance and journal entries
  • Bank and account reconciliations
  • Purchasing and vendor management
  • Aiding the Director of Operations with routine operational and financial functions

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Accounting or Business or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a service-related or professional services environment; law firm experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong technical aptitude; advanced IT skills a plus
  • HR or payroll-related experience is preferred but not required
  • High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information

Compensation

Competitive pay, dependent on experience. (This is a temporary assignment; benefits eligibility will reflect the short-term nature of the role.)
