Temporary Admissions Counselor

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective students by visiting high schools, college fairs, and other locations.
• Assist with campus college admission events, including daily visits, visit days, open houses, admitted students days, Duke days, and similar events.
• Counsel prospective students and parents about the admission process, answer questions about the college or university, and advise on program selections.
• Arrange and lead campus tours.
• Follow up with students via email, text, phone, or letters.
• Collaborate with other admissions counselors on projects, during events, and during travel season.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 20–25 hours per week.

Pay

$20.51 per hour.

Work Arrangement

On-Campus: Teams that work on campus, in an office, or in a lab.

Clearances

• PA State Police Criminal Record Check
• FBI Criminal Record Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance
