Responsibilities
- Accomplish day-to-day tactical objectives in support of company and department goals.
- Demonstrate adherence to company policies and procedures in support of safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale (SQDCM) initiatives.
- Embrace and promote company core values to establish and maintain a culture committed to ethical practices, legal compliance, and a union-free environment.
- Takes initiative to participate in training and developing opportunities to prepare for current and future challenges.
- Participate in team and safety meetings and promote safety within the workplace.
- Ensure equipment and workstations/areas are cleaned daily.
- Understand and perform job tasks in a safe, quality and timely manner.
- Meet daily production goals through continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Support company values and goals to establish a world class organization.
- Assure that all work is performed according to work order request and specification.
- Visual inspect incoming material to ensure no defects.
- Support and communicate with Team Leaders on a daily basis as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma, or its equivalent, preferred, but not required unless entering as a Team Leader or above.
- Must successfully pass an observed drug screen and background check.
- Logistics positions that operate a powered industrial truck must have a valid driver's license.
