Temp to Hire: Machine Operator - Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 4:00am

About the role
As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. Your key tasks will involve operating and maintaining production equipment to uphold our high standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires sharp attention to detail, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to collaborate effectively with your team to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor production line machinery, conducting routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols to create a secure workplace and work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets and maintain quality standards
- Accurately document production metrics and promptly communicate any issues to management for swift resolution
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus
- At least one year’s experience in machine operation
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, including distinguishing color
- Proficient in math for calculating percentages, areas, and volumes
- Ability to set up computer-aided machinery, with a solid understanding of Windows-based computers
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Dependable with a track record of good attendance and punctuality
- Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
Schedule
Current overtime schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2pm–12am or 4pm–4am (depending on overtime requirements).
This is a 90-day work assignment, which includes a 30-day attendance-required period for training purposes. After 75 working days, you may be eligible for full-time employment if you maintain good standing with the company, including attendance, performance, and teamwork.
Overtime work is required.
Pay
Hourly rate: $19.50. Shift differential: $1.95, totaling $21.45 per hour. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment could earn up to $2.00 more per hour.
