Class Summary

The City of Spokane invites applicants to apply for the position of TEMP SEASONAL - ACRYLIC PAINTING INSTRUCTOR at the Corbin Art Center. The Corbin Art Center seeks an experienced painting instructor to provide life-enriching art programs to the Spokane community. The instructor will develop and deliver a diverse curriculum focusing on acrylic painting techniques, guiding students from beginners to intermediates and encouraging them to explore their artistic voices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement art curriculum and lesson plans
• Teach fundamental art techniques and concepts
• Guide students in exploring various art mediums and styles
• Provide constructive feedback on student artwork
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Stay updated with the latest art trends and educational techniques
• Inspire and motivate students to pursue their artistic interests

Requirements

• Previous teaching experience in an academic or community setting
• Degree in Art or related field
