Responsibilities

  • Execute, troubleshoot and analyze results from our core platform immunoassays and cell-based assays to generate high quality, reproducible results.
  • Critical analysis, ability to perform basic troubleshooting, and timely delivery of results are essential to identifying lead compounds and contribute to the understanding of potency and mechanism of action.
  • The individual will be responsible for documenting protocols and presenting clear written and verbal data summaries.
  • The work is fast-paced and process-oriented in an environment where efficiency and quality are integral goals.
  • Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
    • Perform platform immunoassays for ex vivo biologics drug exposure and/or biomarker to support interpretation of study results.
    • Perform basic assay qualifications to ensure measured levels are accurate and reflect biologically relevant response.
    • Perform basic QC and troubleshooting to ensure results are relevant and of highest quality.
    • Generate high quality data, summarizing and documenting results for ELN and reports, and presenting concise results to Project Teams.
    • Adapt rapidly and effectively as needed to ensure fit-for-purpose delivery of our established platform assays.
    • Work with a strong sense of urgency to deliver critical data for decision-making.
    • Perform routine cell culture as needed.
    • Strong documentation skills and ability to track assay performance.
    • Effectively collaborate within and across functional teams to advance various projects simultaneously without compromising data quality or reproducibility.
    • Work in a team environment and independently toward timely execution of shared team deliverables.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in scientific field and 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Experience with performing MSD, ELISA and/or other immunoassays.
  • Experience developing and qualifying de novo immunoassays for measuring analytes in complex matrices.
  • Practical experience with a broad range of in vitro biological assays, such as cell reporter cell lines, cell signaling, cytokine release, etc. assays.
  • Experience and knowledge of mammalian cell culture and techniques.
  • Outstanding experimental design, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with automation, inventory systems, data analysis and informatics systems.
  • Strong sense of urgency in delivering high quality and reproducible decision-making data.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure operational excellence of daily laboratory needs.

Pay

The pay you should reasonably expect to receive is $43.17 - $62.55 per hour. Decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

About The Role

We are looking for a highly effective, motivated and collaborative Scientist to join our Lead Generation Biology team to support biologics therapeutic and platform discovery.
