About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) collaborates with the healthcare team to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develop individualized care and discharge plans.
- Execute protocols and procedures accurately.
- Document care in accordance with policies.
- Coordinate patient activities across departments.
- Prioritize care based on acuity.
- Utilize multidisciplinary approaches when appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of nine months RN experience, with at least one year in emergency settings or completion of a related internship program.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse (Oregon).
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and pediatric life support within specified timeframes.
- Proficiency with computer keyboarding.
Preferences
- Previous healthcare experience and a bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- Certifications such as CEN and TNCC.
- Ability to recognize cardiac dysrhythmias.
- Effective communication skills.
