Temp RN - Emergency Department (36hrs, Nights)

About the role

In this nursing role, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, primarily in emergency or acute settings.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, executing protocols, and ensuring proper documentation. You will coordinate care activities, prioritize patient needs, and provide education to patients and families. The role requires accurate medication administration, emergency response, and participation in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of nine months RN experience, with one year in emergency care or completion of a related internship
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Licenses and certifications: RN license (Oregon), BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and Pediatric Life Support (within 6 months)
• Additional skills include computer proficiency and emergency pediatric course
