Temp RN - Emergency Department (36hrs, Nights)

About the Role

Provides comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient responses to health issues in collaboration with the healthcare team. Responsible for accurate multi-system assessments, developing individualized care and discharge plans, and executing protocols for medical and surgical patients. Ensures proper documentation, medication administration, and patient education while prioritizing patient safety and quality care. Participates in quality assurance activities and utilizes a multidisciplinary approach when appropriate.

Requirements

• Minimum nine months of RN experience, with one year in emergency care or completion of a relevant internship program.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Oregon.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS or Pediatric Course within 6 months, TNCC preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ability to respond in emergencies.
• Computer proficiency and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare experience beyond the minimum requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Certifications such as CEN or TNCC.
