Temp Parts Clerk (ZX Ranch)

About the role
Processes work orders, requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices for payment. Purchases, stores, and issues parts and materials for industrial equipment, cowboy crews, and all ranch facilities.
Responsibilities
- 45% Process invoices for payment, including coding, reconciling statements, helping vendors with payment issues, and One Card statements. Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received.
- 30% Orders parts & other inventory items for all divisions of the ZX ranch and crews by telephoning vendors and arranges pickup and delivery and researching for best purchase options. Issues purchase orders & reconciles inventory against purchase order creation.
- 20% Creates, maintains, and reconciles work orders for materials used on various work projects and inventories on hand, including fuel, feed, mineral & supplements. Issues requisitions. Stores, records, and periodically inventories purchased parts in storeroom and issues parts to workers upon request.
- 5% Maintains equipment and vehicle registration, titles, and semi-truck DMV records, or other record assigned.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- One to three years related experience and/or training; High School diploma or GED required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratios and percentages.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to effectively solve problems with limited supervision.
