Parts Specialist

About the role

The Parts Specialist at CollisionRight is responsible for inventorying, monitoring, verifying, and distributing parts accurately. They also help ensure the efficiency and productivity of CollisionRight's services by ordering and receiving parts as needed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Accurately maintains inventory control of all parts in the system
• Orders parts as needed to ensure they arrive in a timely manner
• Inspects all parts for damage upon delivery to the shop
• Immediately returns incorrect parts to the vendor and acquires the correct parts as soon as possible
• Ensures all tools and equipment are operating correctly
• Answers any questions from customers regarding their vehicle
• Maintains a cost projection spreadsheet and follows up with other departments on product needs
• Establishes relationships with CollisionRight vendors and regularly communicates on part status and delivery

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalent
• Valid Drivers License
• 1+ years of experience in Part Operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Efficient in Microsoft and Excel (preferred but not required)
• Ability to analyze and interpret internal cost reports
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to understand written instructions, work orders, and estimates
• Works effectively as a member and leader of a team
