With approximately 100 employees and a reputation for exceptional client care, this team is seeking a Healthcare Intake & Referral Coordinator to help support referral management, admissions, insurance verification, and client onboarding. Position Summary This highly visible role serves as a central point of communication between referral sources, healthcare providers, clients, families, and internal care teams. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating healthcare referrals, managing documentation, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring a smooth admission process for new clients. Key Responsibilities Coordinate incoming referrals and admissionsVerify insurance eligibility and obtain required authorizationsManage client demographics, medical information, medications, and documentation within the EMR systemCommunicate with referral partners, healthcare providers, clients, and familiesProcess medical orders, referrals, and related documentationCreate and maintain client care plans and required recordsTrack referral activity and client data using spreadsheets and internal systemsResolve client inquiries and concerns in a timely, professional mannerAssist with scheduling and occasional on-call coverage Qualifications Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferredExperience in healthcare intake, admissions, or referral coordinationMedicare intake experience preferredHome health, hospice, or home care experience preferredKnowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, and payor typesFamiliarity with medical terminologyEMR experience and strong computer skillsCMA certification preferred Position Details Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pmLocation: 100% onsite in Woodbury, MNEmployment Type: TempPay: $26-$29/hour Benefits During Contract Assignment Medical plans with Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC), pharmacy benefits, virtual care, and emotional support resources Hospital Indemnity coverage availableDental and Vision insurance options availableAccident, Critical Illness, Life Insurance, and Short-Term Disability options available for eligible employees Earned Safe & Sick TimeEmployee discount programs All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
