About the role

Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment in a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) warehouse environment. Maintain equipment and work areas in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.

Responsibilities

• Pick or put-away boxes from cages into racks (VNA).
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
• Inspect assigned equipment daily.
• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Stack and store product in designated areas efficiently.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in number and type.
• Move product from staging/storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; report quality variances.
• Maintain tight inventory control and security through accurate records and reports.
• Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Follow customer requirements for load count, stability, and safe loading/unloading.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance departments as needed.
• Practice good housekeeping, including a "clean as you go" process.
• Report unsafe conditions to the leadership team and promote a safe work environment.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices; report noncompliance.
• Observe and assist in enforcing all company safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must successfully complete post-hire assessments.
• Must obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g., OSHA, company-specific).
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., protective footwear, eyewear, gloves) in accordance with safety policies.

Pay

$22.00 per hour plus shift differential.
