TEMP Conversion: MHE2, General Forklift - FHD

About the role

Operate powered industrial equipment to pick, put-away, load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials. Maintain equipment and work areas in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion, including daily inspections of assigned equipment. Ensure all operations comply with prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments safely, moving product to storage, staging, or transportation areas.
• Stack and store product in designated locations, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, verifying accuracy, quantity, and product type.
• Move product from staging or storage into rail cars, trailers, or containers, ensuring stability and safety.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy and damage, reporting any quality variances.
• Maintain tight inventory control and security through accurate records and reports.
• Assist in physical inventories as required.
• Follow customer requirements and instructions to ensure load accuracy, product stability, and safe loading/unloading.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance departments as needed.
• Practice good housekeeping, including a "clean as you go" process.
• Operate equipment safely, report unsafe conditions, and assist in enforcing safety rules.
• Adhere to corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices, reporting noncompliance when observed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g., OSHA, company-specific).
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., protective footwear, eyewear, gloves) in accordance with safety policies.

Schedule

Fixed Hybrid Day (FHD) shift: Sunday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Pay

Base salary: $18.50 per hour. Shift differential: $1.50 per hour.
