TEMP Conversion: MHE2, General Forklift - DNN

About the role

Operate powered industrial equipment to pick, put-away, load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials. Maintain equipment and work areas in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion, including daily inspections and safe operation following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Stack and store product efficiently in designated areas.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accurate count and type.
• Move product from staging/storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free; report quality variances.
• Maintain tight inventory control and security through accurate records and reports.
• Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Follow customer requirements for load count, stability, and safe loading/unloading.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance departments as needed.
• Perform good housekeeping practices, including a "clean as you go" process.
• Operate equipment safely, report unsafe conditions, and enforce safety rules.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices; report noncompliance.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) per safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three or more years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g., OSHA, company-specific).
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (e.g., protective footwear, eyewear, gloves).

Schedule

Night shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

Pay

$18.50 per hour base pay with a $1.50 per hour shift differential.
