Teller/Relationship Banker - Float

About the role

The Teller/Relationship Banker Float will support the credit union's needs by processing transactions, educating members on financial products, and maintaining strong member relationships.

Responsibilities

• Processes transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, transfers, and loan payments.
• Updates account information and documents member interviews promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Identifies and recommends products and services to meet members' financial needs.
• Educates members on the benefits of credit union products and services.
• Refers members to other credit union representatives as appropriate.
• Collaborates with internal departments to resolve member concerns.
• Performs support duties including scanning, faxing, and working daily reports.
• Complies with company policies, laws, and regulations.

Requirements

• Up to six months of relevant experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• High level of trust, credibility, and diplomacy.
• Strong customer service skills, including handling difficult interactions.
• Effective multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to obtain a Notary designation.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in calculators.
• Ability to obtain a bond.
