Teller
Position Summary & Mission: Tellers sustain and elevate trust and satisfaction of Tri Counties Bank customers by expertly executing account transactions, making referrals to banking partners, and proactively initiating telephone contact with account holders.
- Safeguard a cash fund of up to $25,000, maintaining an accurate record of deposits and disbursements.
- Execute an average of 25-50 account transactions per day for customers visiting the branch.
- Regularly operate nine desktop computer applications for: Customer deposit, withdrawal, check cashing, and cashier’s check transactions (“Desktop Teller”); Customer account balance inquiries and account maintenance (“Signature”); Federal compliance (“Verafin”); Customer account report and document access (“Nautilus”); Customer relationship management (“Salesforce”); Transaction source capture (“BackCounter”); Foreign currency transactions (“CurrencyTeller”); Internal communications (“Outlook”); Personal timekeeping (UltiPro).
- Handles customer service transactions, such as receiving and disbursing funds, posting deposits and withdrawing funds.
- Provides information and assistance in researching customer problems, balances a cash drawer daily and answers customer inquiries.
- Probes for customer financial needs and recommends bank products and services.
- Refers retail loan and deposit products.
- Mets referral goals as assigned.
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly service to Bank customers ensuring that all customer transactions are handled timely and accurately according to guidelines.
- Safeguards cash and security procedures following assigned cash limits.
- Completes necessary documentation and data entry.
- Processes all deposit and loan transactions.
- Makes outbound calls to new and existing customers to maintain contact and satisfy servicing needs.
- Maintains a current understanding of Bank policies and procedures in compliance with all federal and state laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (SARs, CIP, OFAC), Information Security (GLBA), Identity Theft Red Flags, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, and any other applicable regulations that may be specific to your job duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Effective selling and cross-selling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to utilize personal computers and Windows based programs.
- Able to successfully complete Bank’s product and sales training courses.

Pay
- Teller I: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
- Teller II: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour

Personal Banker I
Position Summary & Mission: As a Personal Banker you provide confidence-inspiring service to members of our community who visit the branch for teller services and new account openings. In your personal interactions with customers you create and expand banker-client relationships based on purpose, value, and trust. You assist our customers with a variety of transactions, demonstrate interest and care for their financial wellbeing, detect opportunities to introduce them to Tri Counties Bank services that suit their financial circumstances, and expertly present to them products that address their needs and goals.
- Conduct an average of approximately 12 or more customer conversations daily.
- Present To Customers The Features And Benefits Of Consumer Checking Accounts, Consumer Savings Accounts, Certificates Of Deposit, Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Banking, Debit Cards, Overdraft Privilege Coverage.
- Continuously update a customer relationship management database with records of all customer interactions, whether in person, by telephone, or other modes of communication.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with other Tri Counties Bank financial services professionals providing specialized services in: Home mortgage lending, Investment Advisory, Commercial Lending, Business Corporate & Purchasing Cards, Treasury Management, Merchant Card Services, Direct Banking.
- Begin with a personal welcome to everyone who calls or comes into a branch.
- Show the customer they are valued.
- Use every customer interaction as an opportunity to have quality conversations and individually understand the financial needs and goals of our customers.
- Share your knowledge about Tri Counties Bank services, products, and partners to help your customers' save money, make more money or make their banking more convenient.
- Employ appropriate solutions for your customers.
- Follow through and honor commitments to ensure their financial needs and goals are fulfilled.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous sales and cash handling experience, preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to utilize personal computers and Windows based programs.
- Able to successfully complete Bank product and sales training courses and appropriate certifications.
- Able to be registered as a mortgage loan originator (MLO) in the Nationwide Mortgage License System and Registry (NMLS).
