Teller / Member Service Representative

Role

To assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments. Attendance is an essential function of performing the duties of this job.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 5-hour shift between 7:45 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
• Saturdays: 8:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
• Part-time employees are scheduled for 21 - 29 hours per week

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders, VISA gift cards, etc. to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. (55%)
• Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service. (15%)
• Balances cash drawer and daily transactions. (15%)
• Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone. (5%)
• Cross-sells credit union services. (5%)
• Other duties as assigned. (5%)
