About the role

Tellers at Central Pacific Bank are the face of the company, providing exceptional customer service and processing routine financial transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Processing routine financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, advances, loan payments, merchant transactions, etc.)
  • Welcoming customers warmly
  • Helping customers meet their financial goals by informing them of available products and services
  • Exhibiting core competencies resulting in consistent delivery of positive Customer Interactions, Empowerment and Ownership
  • Demonstrating key professional and performance skills such as Active Listening, effective Oral and Written Communication, Action and Solution Oriented, and Thoroughness
  • Cash Handling & Customer Service: Providing an Exceptional Customer Experience, delivering personalized service, managing transactions, maintaining accurate records, answering questions, complying with security procedures, and safeguarding cash
  • Deposit Product Referrals: Holding financial conversations, identifying referral opportunities, cross-selling products, participating in campaigns, submitting referrals, and reporting

Requirements

  • Teller I Requirements: 6 months or more of experience in cash handling and customer service
  • Teller II Requirements: 1+ year(s) of experience in cash handling and customer service, 1+ year(s) of experience in a Financial Institution and/or Teller experience

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
