Teller II New Accounts
Responsibilities
- Accepts deposits, cashes checks, and performs customer service duties.
- Listsens to customer needs to make appropriate referrals to other bank staff.
- Receives, researches, and resolves customer inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts.
- Maintains customer accounts including deposit accounts, CDs, Health Savings Accounts, IRAs, and other retail banking products.
- Performs operational duties such as vault operations, ordering and shipping cash, ATM settlement, research teller differences, and completing various reports.
- Opens and closes individual and commercial deposit accounts.
- Completes forms such as CTRs, SIRs, and any other BSA reporting as necessary.
- Strives to achieve sales goals by being a knowledgeable resource on products and services available to customers.
- Assists with various customer service duties including answering phone calls, assisting walk-in customers, processing check orders, closing accounts, processing account printouts, sorting daily mail, assisting with NSF, Non-post, and collections, and assisting customers with Safe Deposit Boxes.
- Verifies deposits for credit purposes.

- Basic knowledge of banking regulations and bank policies and procedures.

- Skilled in operating computer terminals and printers, back counter capture machine, coin machine, and copier.
- Skilled in effectively listening to customers and making appropriate referrals.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Able to perform customer service duties and provide leadership and guidance to subordinate members of the department.
- Able to ensure appropriate efficiency, accuracy, and customer service is provided.
- Able to function as a team player.
Schedule
Part time, approximately 24 hours per week. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, customer-focused, and passionate about building lasting relationships. They take pride in delivering a well-rounded banking experience providing transactional support while also working collaboratively to connect customers with financial solutions that support their goals and strengthen our community.
Schedule will include four weekdays from 1:00pm-6:15pm with Mondays and Fridays being required and every Saturday from 8:45am-12:15pm. Shift times will vary slightly based on operational needs.

Requirements
