About the Role

Rogue Credit Union is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Member Relations team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional member experiences, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and delivering unsurpassed service to our members.

Responsibilities

• Receives and accurately processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, transfers, disputes, statement/check copies, and safe deposit boxes.
• Responds to member requests, problems, and complaints, demonstrating ownership and follow-through.
• Collaborates with other departments/branches to maintain high service standards across the credit union.
• Promotes credit union products and services to meet members' needs and deepen their participation.
• Maintains and balances cash drawers, ATMs, vaults, and other cash-handling equipment, ensuring accuracy in daily transactions.
• Completes branch-specific opening and closing duties.
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Requirements

• One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to multi-task, operate 10-key calculators, and proficient computer and keyboarding skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand and walk continuously, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity.
• Availability to work Saturdays and a rotating, flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial transactions and processes.
• Familiarity with Rogue Credit Union's products and services.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with members and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment

This position operates in a normal workday setting with occasional overtime. It requires working Saturdays and a rotating, flexible schedule. The role may involve exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, such as robbery. Travel to other Rogue Credit Union regions may be necessary.
