About the Role

If you’re an energetic and detail-oriented person who enjoys helping clients, growing accounts, and handling cash transactions accurately, our Teller/Customer Service Representative role could be a great fit! Responsibilities

• Build relationships by getting to know clients, understanding their needs, and providing personalized service.
• Deliver exceptional service by accurately processing transactions while maintaining a positive and proactive approach.
• Ensure accuracy by processing cash and check transactions with integrity and precision.
• Drive growth by opening and maintaining accounts, assisting with loan applications, and helping clients navigate financial products like Certificates of Deposit (CDs) and Money Market Accounts.
• Generate leads by identifying client needs and seamlessly referring them to the appropriate banking professionals.
• Educate and protect clients by clearly explaining security measures, banking procedures, and product benefits.
• Solve problems by handling client concerns with professionalism and finding effective solutions.
• Minimize risk by identifying and preventing fraud while ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
• Collaborate as part of a respectful, supportive team that values accountability and innovation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a business setting.
• Minimum 1 year of cash-handling experience.
• Teller experience preferred (6+ months).
• Strong customer service skills, including active listening and clear communication.
• Experience recommending and referring financial products.
• Solid understanding of compliance and fraud detection.
• Ability to accurately balance a cash drawer.
• Proficiency with computers, data entry, and multi-line phone systems.
• Basic math and accounting skills.
• Ability to work occasional weekends and extended hours.
• Ability to remain in a stationary, standing position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday.
• Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet).
