Responsibilities
- Build relationships with clients and understand their needs
- Deliver exceptional service by accurately processing transactions
- Ensure accuracy in cash and check transactions
- Drive account growth through opening and maintaining accounts, assisting with loan applications, and guiding clients on financial products
- Generate leads by identifying client needs and referring them to appropriate professionals
- Educate and protect clients by explaining security measures, banking procedures, and product benefits
- Solve problems professionally and find effective solutions
- Minimize risk by identifying and preventing fraud while adhering to banking regulations
- Collaborate with a supportive team to foster a culture of accountability and innovation
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a business setting
- Minimum 1 year of cash-handling experience
- Teller experience preferred (6+ months)
- Strong customer service skills, including active listening and clear communication
- Experience recommending and referring financial products
- Solid understanding of compliance and fraud detection
- Ability to accurately balance a cash drawer
- Proficiency with computers, data entry, and multi-line phone systems
- Basic math and accounting skills
- Ability to work occasional weekends and extended hours
- Ability to remain in a stationary, standing position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday
- Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet)
Qualifications
