About the role

The Teller position at Climb Credit Union is responsible for greeting members and potential members, answering product and service inquiries, resolving issues within authority, and cross-selling services/products beneficial to members.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and potential members, answer all product and service inquiries and resolve problems within authority.
• Refers issues beyond their authority to the next level, along with their recommendations.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services/products beneficial to members in accordance with the credit union’s standards and goals.
• Performs member transactions, within authority, accurately, efficiently with good audit trail within credit union guidelines and policies.
• Affirms that appropriate records are maintained and required reports/tasks processed.
• Maintains a balanced check run and cash drawer at all times.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• A high school education or GED.
• Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
• Able to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred, not a requirement.

Pay

This is a full-time, non-exempt position starting at the pay rate of $20.00 per hour with the possibility of incentive pay, which will be adjusted based on experience, education and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a full-time position.
