Telesales Representative
About the role
We're hiring Telesales Representatives for a growing marketing and advertising company that partners with major national brands like T-Mobile, UHG, Apple, and other well-known companies. This is a high-volume outbound calling role where you'll connect with businesses across the country and help secure advertising placements for client campaigns. Unlike traditional telemarketing, you're not selling products directly to consumers. Instead, you're reaching out to business owners and managers to offer paid advertising partnerships. For example, you might call a restaurant, retail store, or gas station and explain that one of the organization's clients would like to place promotional materials at their location in exchange for compensation.
What You'll Do
- Make outbound calls to businesses nationwide
- Explain advertising partnership opportunities
- Secure participation agreements from business owners and managers
- Track activity in Salesforce
- Follow up with previous partners and cold prospects
- Work toward daily goals of approximately 10 successful agreements
This role is heavily phone-based, with an expectation of about 100+ outbound dials per day. Most conversations are relatively short, ranging from 30 seconds to a few minutes. Success comes from building rapport quickly, speaking confidently, navigating objections, and identifying the right decision-maker.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
