Telepsychiatrist - PRN
About the Role
Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a PRN Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our Department of Psychiatry. The ideal candidate will lead an interdisciplinary team in evaluating and treating hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric conditions. This is a 100% virtual position, requiring 2–5 shifts per month. Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry is strongly preferred. Candidates must be licensed in Texas and reside in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana, or Georgia.
Qualifications
- Board-Certified Psychiatrist
- Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry (strongly desired)
- Licensed in Texas
- Residency in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana, or Georgia
