Telepsychiatrist - PRN

About the role

The ideal physician will help develop and lead an interdisciplinary team in the evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses. This position will be 100% virtual and require you to work 2 – 5 shifts a month.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and lead an interdisciplinary team in the evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.
• Work 2 – 5 shifts a month, 100% virtual.
• Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry is strongly desired.

Requirements

• Licensed in Texas and residing in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana or Georgia.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Criminal justice, security or related experience preferred.

Skills

• Board-Certified Psychiatrist.
