About the role
The University of Michigan Survey Services Lab (SSL) is hiring Survey Technicians to support important social research projects. Survey Technicians conduct computer-assisted telephone interviews and assist with other survey operations, including customer support, coding, mail survey tasks, and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Talk with people and build rapport
- Read and accurately record survey responses
- Use a Windows-based computer
- Work evenings and weekends
- Live within commuting distance of U-M Central Campus
Requirements
- Enjoy talking with people and building rapport
- Read survey questions exactly as written and accurately record responses
- Be comfortable using a Windows-based computer
- Be reliable, self-motivated, and professional
- Have availability to work evenings and weekends
- Live within commuting distance of U-M Central Campus
