Telemetry Nurse - PRN/Day & Night Shifts

About the Role

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in an inpatient setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, developmentally appropriate nursing care by applying advanced clinical skills.
• Follow physician orders and ensure patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Maintain infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples, perform lab testing, and assist with diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Manage patient admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures, and assist with treatments.
• Perform quality assessment activities and participate in staff meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current valid RN license in the state without sanctions.
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry, ICU, or related healthcare roles.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English (written and oral).
• For Pennsylvania RNs: Act 33 and Act 73 clearances must be completed or obtained prior to employment.
