About the Role
We are seeking an Inpatient Nurse (PCU/Step-Down/Tele RN - PRN/Casual) for night shifts in a small hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and deliver age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care.
- Follow physicians' orders and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, perform lab tests, and manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Assemble equipment, assist with procedures, and ensure compliance with legal and facility standards.
- Participate in quality assessment activities and staff meetings.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred).
- Current RN licensure without sanctions.
- At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare roles.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
- Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively.
- Additional background clearances as required by state regulations.
