Telemetry Registered Nurse - Night Shift

About the Role

This remote, non-patient care position involves admitting patients into the monitoring system and coordinating with bedside staff. The role requires operating during 12-hour night shifts and prefers candidates with over 3 years of inpatient experience and MO or IL licensing. The technician monitors heart rhythms, communicates findings to nursing staff, and calls CODES for lethal rhythm detections to ensure patient safety. It emphasizes the importance of maintaining constant alertness and working safely, as it is a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and analyzing patient heart rhythms in a centralized telemetry setting across multiple locations.
• Communicating with nursing staff regarding rhythm changes and patient status.
• Supporting patient safety by promptly responding to abnormal rhythms and alerting appropriate teams.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of an Associate's degree with no experience needed; 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
