About the role
The role involves performing as a registered nurse responsible for assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Provide age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care
- Follow physician orders
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Adhere to infection control protocols
- Collect lab samples and perform diagnostic procedures
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Assemble equipment and assist with treatments
- Participate in quality assessments
- Attend staff meetings
- Perform assigned tasks
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred)
- Current RN licensure
- At least two years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare roles
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- PALS strongly preferred
- Fluency in English required
- For Pennsylvania RNs: background clearances must be completed within the last five years
