Telemetry Monitoring Tech-PD

Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION Documents and interprets patient’s cardiac rhythms at regular intervals to identify dysrhythmias. This is evidenced by obtaining and interpreting baseline rhythm strip on each monitored patient. Measures and documents accurately the PR and QRS intervals on new & existing patients electronically. Communicates with registered nurse all arrhythmias and activates emergency notification system with any life-threatening rhythms.Provides a safe, clean, and orderly environment, contributes to efficient departmental operations to control cost and ensure productivity. Communicates equipment malfunctions to the clinical engineering department, nurse manager, or designee.
