Telemedicine Physician

About the role

Seeking dedicated physicians licensed in at least three states to provide high-quality virtual care across various specialties, including primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional telemedicine services through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment plans.
• Build patient-centered, therapeutic relationships with compassionate care.
• Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications, including buprenorphine for addiction, while adhering to regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and maintain thorough medical documentation.
• Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth practices.

Requirements

• Active medical license in at least three states, with a preference for five or more, including states like CA, FL, NC, PA, TX.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
• DEA certification and applicable CSL if required.

Key Duties

• Provide virtual patient assessments.
• Prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine).
• Collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation to ensure quality care.
• Focus on expanding access, supporting addiction treatment, and serving underserved communities, all within a flexible, administrative-free environment.
