About the Role
Seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in multiple U.S. states to deliver high-quality virtual care across various specialties, including primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, and urgent care. This role offers flexibility to work remotely with minimal administrative tasks, utilizing streamlined EMR systems and support staff to focus on patient treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional virtual patient assessments, reviews, and treatment plans.
- Build compassionate, therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
- Order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and ensure comprehensive documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and stay updated on medical advancements and telehealth practices.
- Deliver patient-centered virtual care, including assessments and medication guidance.
- Participate in training, including buprenorphine certification if applicable.
Requirements
- Active medical license in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states, including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX.
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume clinical settings.
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly, primarily during daytime hours, with scheduling flexibility.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
- DEA certification.
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses; support provided.
