About the Role
Seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in multiple states to provide high-quality virtual care across various specialties, including primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, and urgent care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional virtual patient assessments, reviews, and treatments.
- Build compassionate, therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
- Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions.
- Prescribe medications, including buprenorphine for opioid addiction, excluding controlled substances.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and support staff for comprehensive care.
- Maintain thorough medical documentation and stay updated on medical advancements and telehealth best practices.
- Provide patient-centered virtual care with a focus on addiction treatment and general telehealth services.
- Utilize streamlined technology and support systems to ensure efficient practice.
- Participate in training, including buprenorphine certification, and adhere to compliance standards.
Requirements
- Active medical licenses in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states, with willingness to obtain additional licenses.
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings.
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling over four days.
- Strong communication skills, proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL, if needed.
