Telemedicine Physician

About the Role

Seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in multiple states to provide high-quality virtual care across various specialties, including primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, and urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional virtual patient assessments, reviews, and treatments.
• Build compassionate, therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications, including buprenorphine for opioid addiction, excluding controlled substances.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and support staff for comprehensive care.
• Maintain thorough medical documentation and stay updated on medical advancements and telehealth best practices.
• Provide patient-centered virtual care with a focus on addiction treatment and general telehealth services.
• Utilize streamlined technology and support systems to ensure efficient practice.
• Participate in training, including buprenorphine certification, and adhere to compliance standards.

Requirements

• Active medical licenses in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states, with willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings.
• Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling over four days.
• Strong communication skills, proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
• At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL, if needed.
