About the Role
This position involves providing high-quality, virtual patient care across various specialties, including primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency, or urgent care. Physicians will conduct assessments, review medical histories, order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances, except buprenorphine), and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive treatment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered virtual care and build strong therapeutic relationships.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
- Stay updated on medical advancements and telehealth best practices.
Requirements
- Active medical license in at least three states, with a preference for five, including CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX.
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume clinical settings.
- DEA certification and applicable CSL if needed.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 core hours weekly, with scheduling flexibility.
