About the Role
Seeking dedicated, licensed physicians to provide high-quality virtual care across various specialties, including primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, and urgent care. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, patient-centered telehealth services, conducting assessments, interpreting tests, prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances, except buprenorphine), and maintaining thorough medical documentation. In collaboration with a support team, physicians ensure comprehensive care while staying current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional virtual patient assessments and treatment.
- Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
- Order, interpret lab tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Stay updated on medical and telehealth innovations.
Requirements
- Active medical license in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states (licenses in CA, FL, NC, PA, TX preferred).
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume clinical settings.
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly over four days.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to excellence.
- Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required).
Key Duties
- Deliver virtual medical care with a focus on addiction, weight management, and general telehealth services.
- Prescribe medications within scope, excluding most controlled substances.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain documentation and stay informed on medical advancements.
Schedule
Minimum of 15 hours weekly over four days.
